Our latest building expansion has recently been completed.
The expansion contains a new-state-of-the-art waste water treatment system which will allow IEP to continue to meet government standards for water pretreatment.
We also have added two large automatic zinc plating machines. The machines allow us to produce large amounts of quality zinc plated products.
These two new lines can handle up to 10' long parts. These lines along with our previous two large automatic rack zinc machines and one smaller rack line make us one of the largest rack zinc facilities in the United States.
Our company has recently been awarded with its ISO 9001:2000 Registration. ISO registration tells you that our quality system meets internationally recognized standards and that we can furnish you with consistent quality products that meet or exceed your requirements.
A portion of our quality system involves the IEP laboratory facilities. We have a “Certified Electroplater-Finisher” (CEF) on staff who oversees this area. Included in our lab are various pieces of equipment used to analyze process solutions and plated products. Shown in the picture is a x-ray flourescence machine used to measure plating thickness. We can enter the desired plating range for any product and the machine will take thickness readings on the product and record various statistical data. Of course all of our measuring and test equipment are calibrated on a set schedule to ensure their accuracy.
